How do I open a MoreTyme account?

Before you can pay with MoreTyme, you need to have an account with TymeBank. You may open a TymeBank account, which is a bank account that is free to set up with no monthly fees, or a MoreTyme account which allows you to link your existing card to make MoreTyme purchases. To create an account:
  1. Download the TymeBank app on your smartphone.
  2. Follow the prompts to set up a TymeBank or MoreTyme account. This will involve verifying your identity by entering your South African ID number and taking a selfie. 
  3. Activate MoreTyme on the homepage of the TymeBank app once your account is verified.
